Small changes make a BIG difference!
Feel this way sometimes too…
There’s a simple way to fix that, girls. All you need is some soap, water, and a wash cloth to clean off all those ugly words, then go stand in front of a mirror and look at how beautiful you are. It’s as simple as that.
i have to remind myself of this every day… that i am beautiful and i am strong and i can do anything i set my mind to!
If it were so easy to erase social expectations and ingrained feelings of inadequacy, if it were as simple as seeing an unbiased image on the mirror… Do you think the world would be so full of women who hate themselves and/or their bodies? I find this akin to telling someone with depression to “get over it, life is beautiful”.
